How do I sign up for a course?
- The only way to sign up for the course is on line, to do this you must create an account on the website. Click on the "create and account" link at the bottom left hand side of the page.
- Once you have created an account log in using the username and password, again this is located in the bottom left of the page.
- Once you are logged in you will have some new items in the menu, one of these is "Book a course". Clicking this link will take you to a page where you can pay the course fee, the site was initially developed to only accept payment by paypal ie credit cards If you choose this method of payment the sytem works perfectly. Because some course attendee could not pay or wanted their club to pay the alternative has been added. If you choose other means of payment there are some technical issue which we have not yet sorted. You should then recieve a confirmation e mail and the course material will be sent to you by post. If this does not arrive within a few days of booking a course please ring our office 08453888132.
- After you have paid the course fee you account with fencingdevelopment.com will automatically be upgraded to "course attendee". This will give you access to the quizes which you need to complete before you attend the practical course. The quizes are all based on the course material that we send you by post once you sign up for a course.
- Once you attend the course, assuming the examiner passes you, you will be added to the on line database of supervisors and people who fence under your supervision will be covered by British Fencing's insurance.
